Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At a plenary session of the Senate, the Law "On Security Activities" was considered.
Protecting the life and health of individuals, their property and objects from encroachment, maintaining public order on the territory of protected objects, preventing and suppressing offenses are the main tasks of the Law.
The law approves the list of entities engaged in security activities, establishes the inadmissibility of security activities by organizations of foreign states, as well as private security organizations of foreign states, with the exception of cases of ensuring the safety of high-level guests who arrived on a short visit to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also, the Law envisages rules regarding the rights and obligations of military personnel, employees, workers and employees of entities engaged in security activities, requirements for candidates for these positions, training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in the field, professional, physical and combat training of military personnel and employees.
The law establishes the norms related to the circumstances under which the use of physical force is possible, the conditions for the use of special means and service weapons, as well as liability for violation of legislation on security activities.
The law was approved by the senators.
