Senate approves tax incentives for businesses and poultry producers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At a plenary session, the Senate reviewed and approved the Law “On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan,” aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and protecting the population from counterfeit goods.
The law introduces changes to the Tax Code, including tax benefits to promote poultry farming, support children’s health camps, and improve the digital product labeling system.

The procedure for calculating and paying fees for the right to retail beer, beer-based beverages, and tobacco products has been clarified, with such trade now shifting to a notification-based registration process.
Senators emphasized that the adopted measures strengthen consumer protection, support the agricultural sector, and promote children’s well-being through the stimulation of health-focused institutions.
