Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- It has been established that the practice of conducting a survey of multi-apartment residential buildings for seismic resistance in the context of years will be established on the territory of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports.

Based on the results of the audit, proposals will be submitted to local government authorities for the phased construction of new houses instead of multi-apartment residential buildings with an expired service life and identified signs of seismic vulnerability and accident rate.

Also, by 1 August 2023, a space monitoring radar system will be created, designed to identify such consequences of earthquakes as deformation, displacement, subsidence of buildings and structures located in seismically active zones.
