Securities market of Uzbekistan reaches 1.681 trln. soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Total turnover of securities market of Uzbekistan (shares and corporate bonds) made up 1.681 trillion soums in 2010 (224% year-on-year), the press service of the State Property Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Share of IPO market in total turnover of securities market made up 65.2% and secondary market 37.1% (25.1% in 2009).

Shares for 1.477 trillion soums were realized through stock exchange in 2010, of which 930 billion soums were sold through IPO market and 547.3 billion soums via secondary market.

The State Property Committee said that deals with corporate bonds for 203.8 billion soums were recorded in 2010.
