Section of Sharof Rashidov street opened for transport

A section of Sharof Rashidov street – from the Monument of Courage to Mustakillik square, is open for transport movement.
The road was closed in the middle of 2000. On the site of the closed road, a green zone was created.
The builders cleared the green zone for last several days and laid the asphalt. From 9 October 2017, movement of vehicles on this section of Sharaf Rashidov street was restored.
Opening of this section of Sharaf Rashidov street should significantly reduce the load on Amir Temur Avenue, which connects Yunusabad district with the center of Tashkent.
