Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Negotiations between Secretaries of the Security Councils of Russia and Uzbekistan Nikolai Patrushev and Viktor Makhmudov took place, Sputnik reported. 

The Russian side expressed concern about the desire of Western countries, and primarily the United States, to create hotbeds of tension in the CIS space, Sputnik Uzbekistan reports.

Patrushev informed his colleague about the situation in Ukraine. In particular, about the massive shelling of peaceful cities and the establishment of a peaceful life in the liberated territories.

Issues related to further plans for interaction between special services, military departments, law enforcement agencies and justice bodies of Russia and Uzbekistan were also discussed.
