Secretaries of Security Council of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan hold talks

On April 13, 2016, in Tashkent, within the framework of the meeting of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the SCO Member States, Secretary of Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Victor Makhmudov met with the Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurakhim Kaharov.
During the meeting, sides discussed the state and prospective directions for development of bilateral relations and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues.
The parties discussed the issues of strengthening cooperation between the SCO Member States in combating new challenges and threats, as well as exchanged views on the preparations for the upcoming Tashkent Summit of the SCO Council of Heads of States.
