Second Sunday of August announced as Day of Construction Workers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a law “On establishing the Day of Construction Workers in the Republic of Uzbekistan” on 21 December 2017.
The law was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on 6 October 2017 and approved by the Senate on 20 December 2017. The law comes into force from the day of its official publication (on 22 December 2017).
According to the law, the second Sunday of August is established as the Day of Construction Workers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
