Second phase of ‘Clean Air’ campaign starts in Tashkent

Control activities are aimed at implementation of the state control of mobile sources of pollution, reducing the negative impact of transport on the environment and public health, to attract public attention to the protection of the air.

Operation ‘Clean Air’ will be conducted by State Nature Committee in close cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic Safety (traffic police), Ministry of Interior and the State Sanitary Epidemiological Control and the Ministry of Health.

Motor vehicles will be checked for toxicity and smoke exhaust with the special equipments, the committee underlined.
