SCO supports the signing of the border junction agreement between Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has welcomed the signing of the Agreement on the Border Junction between the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. This was stated in an official declaration by the organization.
The document was signed on 31 March in Khujand, Tajikistan, during a meeting of the presidents of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
The SCO emphasized that this step is crucial for strengthening mutual trust and fostering good-neighborly relations among the three countries.
SCO member states also noted that the agreement represents a significant contribution to ensuring peace and stability in the region.
