SCO RATS holds meeting in Uzbek capital
The session was attended by the officials of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and SCO RATS Executive Committee.
The participants considered the report of the SCO RATS for 2016, which will be submitted to the SCO leaders for review.
They also discussed execution of the Cooperation Programme on Combatting Terrorism, Separatism, and Extremism for 2016-2018 in 2016.
The meeting also approved SCO’s draft Anti-extremism Convention. The meeting also agreed holding joint anti-terrorism drips, border operations and other events.
The SCO member states highly rated operation of the Executive Committee of the SCO RATS. They also reviewed some organizational issues, including appointments, and development of cooperation framework.
The next SCO RATS Council meeting will take place in September 2017 in China.
