Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25 May  2020, the Military Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan completed the trial and announced the verdict against R. Sayfulin, accused of committing crimes under Part 1 of Article 157 (treason to the State) and Part 1 of Article 248 (illegal possession of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During a closed trial, which took several months, the testimony of the defendant and witnesses were heard and analyzed. This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The assessment of evidence collected by the investigating authority is given, the arguments of the defendant are checked.

The court found R. Sayfulin guilty of the above crimes and sentenced him to 12 years in prison.
