Saudi Arabia Introduces Mandatory Medical Certificates for Hajj 2026 Visa
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saudi Arabia has announced that for the Hajj 2026 season, pilgrims will only be able to obtain a visa if they provide a medical certificate issued through the Nusuk platform, the press service of the Ministry of Religious Affairs reported.
The Kingdom’s Ministry of Health has mandated that all organizations involved in Hajj preparations conduct thorough health checks for each pilgrim.
Medical examination has become a compulsory step prior to visa issuance, and travel will not be permitted without the relevant documentation.
The list of medical conditions that prohibit participation in Hajj includes kidney failure requiring dialysis, severe heart or liver failure, chronic lung diseases requiring oxygen support, and serious psychiatric or neurological disorders.
Additionally, women in the late stages of pregnancy and individuals with active infectious or oncological diseases will not be allowed to travel.
The Ministry of Hajj has warned that violations of these rules or submission of false information will result in appropriate measures being taken.
