Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SEG) achieved the planned production targets in the Republic of Uzbekistan in the first half of the year.
PRODUCTION
One of the largest oil and gas companies in Uzbekistan, Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SEG) produced 276 thousand tons of liquid hydrocarbons in the first half of this year, which is 9% higher than the same indicator of the previous year. The main drivers of growth in the first six months are the geological and technical activities carried out at such fields as Western Tashly (well No. 69), East Tashly (well No. 15, 87), Yangi Karatepa (well No. 3, 19), Northern Shurtan (well No. 11), Khodjaosman (well No. 16, 18, 26-BIS). Also, the increase in oil production was ensured by development drilling and sidetracking at the Chegara (well No. 11-ZBS, 22, 23), Sardob (well No. 14) and Northern Urtabulak (well No. 71-OE) fields.
The average daily production as of 1 July 2022 amounted to just over 1,700 tons of hydrocarbons. The figures for the same period last year were at the level of 1,468 tons. Thus, the increase in daily production amounted to more than 16%.
In the first half of this year, 34 wells were put into operation from the expectation of liquidation, control and liquidation fund, while in the first half of last year this figure was only 7 wells. During the first half of the current year, 5 wells were put into operation from drilling.
SALES
The company continued to diversify its order book in the first half of 2022. In total, the company’s customers were supplied with 119,445.89 tons of diesel fuel, 85,399.46 gasoline, 3,062.87 TS-1 jet fuel. The company significantly increased the production of petroleum oils, bringing the figure to 21,870.61.
To date, contracts for the supply of the company’s products have been concluded with 902 customers, including - 887 in the domestic market and 15 - outside the Republic of Uzbekistan. In the first half of the year, 7 new contracts were signed with the supply of products to the foreign market. This number includes such companies as Centrum Parafiny (Poland), DYM Resources (Germany), Duato Corporation (Great Britain), HILL (Kazakhstan), ASIA OIL (Tajikistan), Tecza Energia (Poland), Elita Tichorat (Tajikistan).
CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION
Under the program "Overhaul of fixed assets" for the first half of this year, the actual development of investments amounted to 20.81 billion soums, 93 objects were repaired. Compared to the same period of last year, 15 objects more were completed. As part of the implementation of the program "Capital construction of fixed assets - Oil production", for the period, the actual development of 24 objects exceeded the amount of 67.08 billion soums. The Company continues to actively implement both programs aimed at both creating new fixed assets for oil production and maintaining old ones.
DIGITALIZATION OF BUSINESS
As part of the development concept and in accordance with the Digital Uzbekistan strategy, the company is focused on the intensive introduction of digital tools that allow minimizing manual operations, as well as accumulating a large amount of data to increase the degree of predictability of hydrocarbon production. Among the projects currently being implemented are automation of workflow (project budget 2.91 billion soums), transition to accounting according to IFRS standards, automation of personnel records and payroll at FNPZ based on SAP S / 4 HANA solutions, HCM module (project budget 5.27 billion soums). Also, one of the key IT projects is the development of a "Plan for restoring the operation of IT systems after disasters."
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
During the first half of the year, the company implemented a number of activities aimed at attracting young professionals, as well as staff development. More than 392 million soums were invested in this area of work during the reporting period.
The number of employees as of 1 January 2022 was 3244 people, as of 1 July 2022 - 3346 people.
