Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The branch of Tashkent State University of Economics in Samarkand and the Malaysian City University have signed a virtual Cooperation Agreement.

A signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Samarkand branch of the Tashkent State University of Economics Olim Murtazayev and the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the City University Rosnizah Shaari.

The document envisages cooperation with a Malaysian partner in the implementation of academic programs based on the franchising model, including the issuance of double diplomas and training according to 2+2 standards, the organization of advanced training courses for the teaching staff, student exchange, holding conferences and workshops, carrying out joint research, as well as publishing scientific articles and works.
