Samarkand and Malaysia Strengthen Education and Logistics Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The governor of Samarkand region visited MERITUS University in Malaysia and met with Dr. Halim Mohammad, director of Halim Mazmin Group, a company specializing in maritime transport, port services, logistics, and supply chain management, implementing major international projects.

During the meeting, both parties discussed opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships in logistics and transportation.

Special attention was given to educational cooperation with MERITUS University, which trains specialists in business, management, finance, accounting, international trade, and information technology.

Discussions included expanding academic ties through student exchange programs, joint educational projects, and support for investment initiatives.
