Sales of roofing slates hit four year record
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Over 3.1 million units of roofing slates were realized at Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange in four months of 2013, which three times more compared to the volume of the same period of 2012. This is also maximum volume for last four years.
At the same time UZEX noted that number of sellers at the exchange reached 13 enterprises.
Along with Quvasoyshifer, Ahangaranshifer and other traditions participants, there is also one large player in the market UrgutYashilOltini, which holds 12% share in the market.
In the reporting period, the average price of roofing slate gradually fell. If the price was 18,700 soums per unit in the beginning of 2013, it fell to 18,000 soums in March. Large number of offers impacted to fall of prices. But in April, the price rose up to 18,200 soums per unit.
