Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Saida Mirziyoyeva, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held a meeting with Edgars Skuja-Stiprais, the European Union’s Special Representative for Central Asia.

During the talks, both sides discussed prospects for deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union, as well as expanding regional engagement in Central Asia. Particular focus was given to supporting women’s entrepreneurship, advancing educational initiatives, water resource management, and strengthening interregional ties.

Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized the importance of an open and constructive approach to partnership development, stating:

“We are confident that Mr. Stiprais’ professional experience in our region will serve as an additional impetus for strengthening mutual trust and promoting shared initiatives.”

The meeting was held in a spirit of mutual understanding and aimed at achieving practical outcomes.
