Sadriddin Khasanov Named Among The Guardian’s Top 60 Most Talented Young Footballers in the World

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The British publication The Guardian has released a list of the 60 most talented young footballers in the world. Included in this list is Sadriddin Khasanov, a member of Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team.

In April, the Uzbekistan U-17 team faced Saudi Arabia in the final of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup. The teams went into halftime tied 0-0, but after two red cards, Uzbekistan was reduced to nine players on the field, the publication reported.

The Guardian notes that at this critical moment, Khasanov emerged as the standout player. He inspired the team, made an impressive solo run, and scored a goal, securing a 2-0 victory. Throughout the tournament, Khasanov scored four goals and was named the player of the competition.

Khasanov prefers cutting inside from the left flank, is noted for his speed, strength, and goal-scoring instinct, and possesses a fighting spirit. The article highlights that he is a contender for the title of “Best Young Footballer in Asia.”

Previously, Jasurbek Jaloliddinov in 2019 and Azizbek Tulkinbekov in 2024 were also included in this prestigious list.
