Russian university’s branch to accept 325 people in new academic year

On 1 July 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution, which approved quota for university in 2016/2017 academic year.

The university will accept 50 people to faculty “Exploitation and serving gas, gas condensate objects and underground storages” and faculty “Technology of geologic explorations” and faculty “Drilling of oil and gas wells”.

Faculties “Exploitation and serving oil mining objects”, “Construction and repair of pipe transport objects”, “Exploitation and serving transportation and storage objects of gas and oil products” will accept 50 students each, while faculty “Economy of enterprises and organizations” will accept 25 people.

Second and third year undergraduate students of Faculty of oil and gas production of Tashkent State Technical University, which is closed this year, will be transferred to the branch of Russian university in addition to set quota.

According to the resolution, the university will also create three new directions of education “Equipment of oil and gas refining”, “Machinery and equipment of oil and gas fields” and “Chemical technology of natural energy and carbon materials”.
