Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Specialists from Russian universities are joining initiatives to train colleagues who teach Russian in Uzbekistan to citizens of all ages. Russian teachers from Uzbekistan will work with teachers from the Russian State Pedagogical University named after Herzen, Nizhny Novgorod and Altai State Universities.
Russian as a foreign language is studied in Uzbekistan from preschool age. Interaction with Russian specialists will help eliminate the methodological differences that arise when foreigners study the Russian language. Two projects have already started in Uzbekistan to increase the popularity of the Russian language in the country.
The first project, "Methodological Laboratory", is intended for teachers of Russian as a foreign language from institutions of higher education. In the format of professional meetings, Russian specialists present to their colleagues modern methods of teaching Russian as a foreign language, as well as analyze the main mistakes that students make when passing tests for knowledge of the Russian language.
The Neskuchny Sad project was launched with the support of the Russian House in Tashkent and the Ministry of Preschool Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Russian language teachers are trained by teachers from UNN and AltSU, as well as employees of the Russian House in Tashkent. During the project, teachers analyze the complexities of Russian grammar, and also jointly look for mechanisms to motivate preschool children to learn foreign languages, including Russian.
Russia is building up cultural and humanitarian ties with Uzbekistan as part of the international development assistance program. Popularization of the Russian language as an instrument of interethnic communication is one of the priorities of bilateral cooperation.
The project "Russia with you" informs Russians and citizens of the recipient states of Russian assistance about the activities of the Russian Federation in the field of international development assistance (IDA). The Interdepartmental State IDA Program involves a set of measures to provide financial, technical, humanitarian and other assistance designed to promote the socio-economic development of the recipient states, resolve crisis situations arising from natural disasters and / or international conflicts, as well as strengthen the international positions and authority of the Russian Federation.
