Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 4 January 2023, at 13:20 pm, a 61-year-old citizen of the Russian Federation, who went to the slopes for recreation and skiing, despite warnings about the danger of avalanches, was buried under an avalanche. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Rescuers of the Chimgan rescue team of the specialized multidisciplinary department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region immediately arrived at the scene. 

During the search work, the body of the skier was removed from under the snowdrifts.
