Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russian S7 Airlines launches flights between Yekaterinburg and Ferghana.
The first flights will take place on 23 February. Airbus A320neo liners with a capacity of up to 164 passengers will fly once a week.
“Departure from Koltsovo is at 21:25 local time on Wednesdays, arrival is at 00:25. The duration of the flight will be three hours,” the press service of Yekaterinburg Koltsovo Airport reported.
Now flights to Ferghana from Yekaterinburg are operated by Ural Airlines once a week on Saturdays.
The representative of the airport emphasized that Uzbekistan is a popular destination for flights from Yekaterinburg.
In 2021, about 90 thousand passengers went to the republic. It is now possible to fly from Koltsovo to Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Namangan, Navoi, Urgench and Ferghana.
