Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation will resume passenger rail traffic from 23 June. This was announced by Russian Railways.

In June, the following international trains of the formation of the State Enterprise "NC "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari" will return to the schedule:

from 23 June - train No. 5/6 Tashkent - Samara departing once a week from Tashkent (on Thursdays) and from Samara (on Sundays);

from 25 June  - train No. 323/324 Tashkent - Volgograd departing once a week from Tashkent (on Saturdays) and from Volgograd (on Tuesdays).

Ticket sales for these trains will be open soon. It will be possible to purchase them 45 days before departure.

All previously existing sanitary restrictions for citizens of the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan when entering the countries have been lifted, a PCR test is not required.
