Russian President to visit Uzbekistan on 23-24 June
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Russia Vladimir Putin will visit Uzbekistan on 23-24 June to participate in the session of the Council of the heads of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent, the press service of the Kremlin said.
During the summit, the SCO leaders will discuss issues of further developing and expanding number of members of the SCO, strengthening its role as authoritative international organization.
Representatives of the SCO member states will also exchange opinion on key global and regional problems. It is planned that a package of documents will be signed in the result of the summit.
The Kremlin noted that the Russian leader will hold talks with his foreign counterparts on the sidelines of the SCO summit.
