Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Russia plans to create Russian schools in Uzbekistan. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
“Five Russian schools are being created under the full training program according to our methodology in Tajikistan. Now a similar program is being prepared for Uzbekistan,” Lavrov said during the 7th World Congress of Russian Compatriots Living Abroad.
Russia is interested in this becoming a model project for all allies and strategic partners, he said.
“The system of branches of Russian universities in the CIS countries is also very, very well-established, it tends to expand and develop,” added Sergey Lavrov.
