Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, shared on his Telegram channel that he was pleased to welcome his Russian counterpart to Samarkand.

Saidov noted that comprehensive and productive talks are expected between the foreign ministers of the two countries, covering both bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

“We are committed to further strengthening comprehensive ties between Uzbekistan and Russia for the benefit of our peoples,” he added.
