Russian Embassy Delegation Explores Investment Potential of Chirchiq Technopark

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the Embassy of the Russian Federation, led by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador Alexey Erkhov, along with Konstantin Zlygostev from the Russian Trade Representation in Uzbekistan, visited Chirchiq Technopark.

The visit was part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and focused on familiarizing the guests with the operations of Chirchiq and Jizzakh Technoparks, established through collaboration between JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” and the Khimgrad Technopolis of the Republic of Tatarstan.

These sites are regarded as a testament to the sustainable Uzbek-Russian partnership and play a significant role in implementing investment projects involving Russian companies.

During the visit, the delegation was provided with detailed information on the investment opportunities within the technoparks, applicable tax and customs incentives, as well as the industrial infrastructure and conditions for localizing production.

The delegation also toured operational enterprises of Chirchiq Technopark residents with capital from Russia and other countries, gaining firsthand insight into the technological capabilities and production volumes of these facilities.

The Embassy highlighted the practical importance of such industrial platforms for expanding cooperation, attracting new investors, and deepening production ties.

The visit was viewed as a contribution to further strengthening trade, economic, and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Russia, opening additional opportunities for the implementation of joint projects.
