Russian Deputy Minister, Uzbekistani envoy hold meeting

Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and State Secretary Grigory Karasin received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Russian Federation, Ziyaduylla Pulathodjaev on 1 October 2010.
They discussed the state of and prospects for Russian-Uzbek relations, paying special attention to individual questions of economic and trade cooperation between our countries and to the situation in the Central Asian region.
The conversation was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere characteristic of Russian-Uzbek relations based on the principles of strategic partnership and alliance.
