Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzcharmsanoat Association held a meeting with representatives of the Russian company Yachting. Issues of development of bilateral cooperation and implementation of joint projects were discussed at the meeting.
The delegation of Yachting LLC - among the companies from the city of Kazan of the Russian Federation - will take part in the 12th international exhibition-fair "UzCharmExpo 2022", which will be held in Tashkent on 25-27 May.
In accordance with the business program organized within the framework of the international conference, the leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association held a meeting with the General Director of the company Anatoly Shatikov.
At the beginning of the conversation, representatives of the Russian company were informed in detail about the ongoing work in Uzbekistan to develop the leather and footwear industry and attract foreign investors to our country, as well as about the legal framework, conditions and benefits created.
During the meeting, the head of Yachting stressed that Uzbekistan is a reliable strategic partner in the production of leather and footwear, and that in recent years the country has undergone reforms and innovations in this area. It was also noted that thanks to the conditions created for foreign investors, good quality and affordable price of products, Uzbekistan finds its niche in the world market.
The Russian company intends to implement joint projects with Uzbek enterprises. At the initiative of Russian investors, a new joint venture is being created, specializing in the production of special footwear. At the initial stage, 150 thousand pairs of products per month will be produced. 1,500 new jobs will also be created.
During the negotiations, the Uzcharmsanoat Association fully supported the initiative put forward by Yachting LLC. It was decided to provide practical and legal assistance in the implementation of the new project.
As part of the 12th international exhibition-fair UzCharmExpo 2022, a business tour will be organized for a Russian company. The company will visit Samarkand, Andijan, Namangan and Ferghana regions to get acquainted with the activities of production facilities. Negotiations will be held with Uzbek partners to launch a new joint venture.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for the development of bilateral relations.
