Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzcharmsanoat Association, with the assistance of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, held an online meeting with the leadership of the Russian company Avanti LLC. At the talks, the focus is on the issue of exporting products of domestic enterprises to Russia.

The meeting, which was held in the format of a videoconference, was attended by representatives of companies in the Uzbek leather and footwear industry: Akbar Biznes Stroy LLC, Vodiy Shoes LLC, Classica Shoes International LLC, Hazorasp Delfin Shoes LLC, Tata Shoes LLC and other. They presented to foreign partners the capabilities of their enterprises and the range of products.

The management of the Russian company familiarized domestic producers with its production potential and put forward proposals for importing the necessary materials from our country. Among them are blanks for uppers, textile products such as canvas. During the meeting, foreign partners expressed their intention to cooperate with enterprises from Uzbekistan. The issues of purchasing raw materials and materials for production in Russia, placing orders for sewing blanks for uppers and the possibility of creating a joint venture in our country were considered.

The Avanti has been producing sports and dance shoes for the Russian market for 18 years. Deliveries of finished products are carried out to large retail chains, and the company also has direct access to the Ozon and Wildberries marketplaces.

The parties agreed to establish joint cooperation. The leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association invited the Russian side to continue the dialogue already within the framework of the upcoming International Exhibition UzCharmExpo 2022, which will be held from 25 to 27 May  in Tashkent.
