At present, the Uzbek side has resolved the issue of sending a special flight for transporting extradited persons to the territory of the republic. Rospotrebnadzor has received permission for a special flight and convoy to arrive from Uzbekistan to the territory of Russia to transport 56 persons issued for criminal prosecution for grave and especially grave crimes.
Thus, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation has satisfied a number of requests from the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the extradition of citizens for criminal prosecution, including for attempted murder, robbery, theft and other crimes.
In addition, the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation has satisfied the request of the Uzbek colleagues to extradite the citizen for the execution of the sentence of the Kokand City Court of Ferghana region for attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs by a group of persons on a large scale.
Today, at the airport in Novosibirsk, subject to the necessary security measures, taking into account the epidemiological situation, the actual transfer of 56 citizens to their homeland was carried out.
