Russia extradited Uzbek citizens accused of crimes against property

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation issued to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan for criminal prosecution of citizens who committed crimes on the territory of this state. This was reported by the press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation.

Jahongir Baimatov is accused of being a dangerous repeat offender, being an accountant at the Children’s and Youth Sports School of Kushrabad District of Samarkand Region, together with the former school director and other persons, from December 2018 to December 2019 entered false information into the payroll by forging the signatures of employees of the institution. 

Qakhramon Jamalov is accused of the fact that from 7 November 2018 to 4 March 2019 in Tashkent, while working as a warehouse manager, he stole raw materials, materials and finished products on an especially large scale.

Also, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation satisfied the requests of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the extradition of Jasurbek Muminov, accused of theft as part of an organized criminal group, and Feruz Ibragimov, accused of intentional medium-gravity bodily injury.

These citizens at various times were detained on the territory of the Russian Federation. The General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan prepared relevant requests for their extradition.

The decisions of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on their extradition have entered into force, and the Federal Penitentiary Service has been instructed to transfer them subject to the necessary security measures.

They will be delivered to Uzbekistan accompanied by a special convoy.
