Russia bans transit of over 18 tonnes of fish to Uzbekistan

Rosselhoznadzor said that 18 tonnes of frozen fish arrived in Krasnaya Gorka, a point of preliminary notification. The cargo has veterinary certificates of Spain and Norway.

The Russian body said that the cargo was heading to Uzbekistan via the territory of the Russian Federation.

The statement of the Russian body said that agriculture products can be transited via Russia only of they pass via official checkpoints. So, the Russian body decided to ban transit of the freight via territory of Russia.
