Russia allocates large number of educational quotes to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan leads on number of educational quotes, provided by Russia, among the CIS states, head of the Rossotrudnichestva Office in Uzbekistan and advisor of Russian Embassy in Tashkent Victor Shulika said.

He said that Russia provided 305 educational quotas to young people from Uzbekistan in 2014.

He noted that this is serious figure. Shulika underlined that quota for Kazakhstan in 2014 made up 150 people, which is twice lesser compared to quota, allocated to Uzbekistan.

Victor Shulika said that another 1,070 young people from Uzbekistan enrolled to the Russian universities on direct exams to higher educational establishments of Russia.
