Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the results of the first quarter of 2022, the volume of market services provided in the Republic of Uzbekistan reached 73.77 trillion soums. In the structure of market services provided by type of economic activity, transport services ranked third (20.9%), after trade and financial services.

Among the transport services, the largest share is occupied by road transport, which accounts for 55%; followed by the railway - 13.5; pipeline - 12.1% and air - 9.3%.

In the total volume of transport services by region, the largest share falls on Tashkent city – 2.64 trillion soums (25.6%), Tashkent region – 1.17 trillion soums (11.4%) and Samarkand region – 1.01 trillion soums (9.8%). 

The lowest indicators are in Navoi region – 290.8 billion soums (2.8%), Jizzakh region – 236.7 billion soums (2.3%) and Syrdarya region – 154 billion soums (1.5%).

For the first quarter of 2022, the total largest volume of exports of transport services falls on pipelines – US$171.32 million, then rail transport – US$99.16 million, air transport – US$66.28million and automobile – US$5.71 million. Compared to the previous period last year, the volume of exports of services rendered in rail and road transport decreased. The reason for this is the economic and political situation in the world in this period.
