Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s national team has added another medal to its tally at the World Summer Universiade in Rhine-Ruhr. Judoka Shukurjon Aminova earned a bronze medal in the women’s -57 kg weight category.

Aminova secured her place on the podium with a confident victory over her Italian opponent in the bronze medal match.

With this result, Uzbekistan’s overall medal count now stands at 3 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
