Retail chains urged to prevent unjustified price increases

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  Ahead of the New Year, the Competition Committee issued directives to major retail chains, including Korzinka, Makro, Havas, Baraka, Magnum, Assorti, B1, and "Magnit," requesting updates on potential changes in supplier prices and logistical costs.

The Committee emphasized the importance of preventing unjustified price increases and identifying factors influencing the cost of socially significant goods.

During a meeting, participants discussed measures to stabilize prices and addressed systemic issues in the retail food trade sector.
