Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 - 30 November 2021, at the Hyatt Regency Tashkent hotel, the Russian Export Center JSC conducted a business mission of Russian exporting companies in the field of machine tool building to promote Russian goods, technologies and services on the market of the Republic Uzbekistan.
As part of the business mission, round tables were held on the topic
- “State purchases in Uzbekistan: conditions and opportunities for Russian suppliers. State support for exports, current opportunities and growth points”;
- “Prospects for the development of Russian-Uzbek cooperation in the field of machine tool construction. Opportunities for localizing production using the export of Russian technologies and products to the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
The events were attended by representatives of the Russian and Uzbek sides. The delegation from the Russian side was headed by Piven Valery Vyacheslavovich, Director of the Department of Machine Tool Building and Heavy Machine Building of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia
During the B2B program, more than 90 bilateral meetings were organized with such companies as: Andijan Mechanical Plant, Tashkent Mechanical Plant JSC, Uzmetpromkombinat, TEXNOPARK LLC, Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Uzbekistan Miners’ Association, Almalyk MMC JSC, Free Economic Zone Directorate JSC "Navoi" and others.
Also, as part of the on-site program, Almalyk MMC and TEXNOPARK LLC were visited.
As a result of the meetings, a contract was signed between the Russian company NPK COMPLEX-CENTER LLC and the Andijan Mechanical Plant, as well as verbal agreements on further cooperation were reached.
