Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Restoration work has been completed at the Bateman booster compressor station of the Shurtan oil and gas production department of Uzbekneftegaz. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.
Until now, such a comprehensive repair has been carried out in cooperation with foreign specialists.
This time, the restoration work at the Bateman booster compressor station was carried out by employees of the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department.
The Bateman booster station was shut down due to a malfunction in the compressor of Gas Compressor Unit # 3.
The task set by the employees of Uzbekneftegaz and the Shurtan Oil and Gas Production Department was completed on time.
As a result, gas compressor unit No. 3 was put into operation, which prevented a decrease in the uninterrupted production of natural gas.
The Bateman booster compressor station is located in Guzar district of Kashkadarya region, in which 4 gas-pumping units are capable of pumping 13 billion m³ of natural gas. The station is equipped with gas pumping units manufactured by Dresser Rand and General Electric companies from the USA.
