Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An information system "Smart mahalla" has been launched in Samarkand region, which allows to remotely contact prevention inspectors and monitor the process of considering applications. So far, the beta version of the application is only available for Android devices. As noted in the press service of the Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, in the near future the application will be available for users of the iOS system.
After registering in the mobile information system "Smart mahalla", residents will be able to use the following functions:
- in the “My makhalla” menu, get information about the makhalla chairman, demographic data of the makhalla and the attached head of the sector, as well as data on the location of the makhalla and the headquarters of the sector, evaluate the sector's activities.
- in the "My Inspector" menu, get basic information about the district prevention inspector and the location of the law enforcement agency, as well as evaluate the work of the prevention inspector;
- in the menu "Geomap of the region" you can track traffic accidents, administrative offenses and crimes in the region;
- in the menu "Contacting government bodies" you can find the addresses of the websites of government bodies, get acquainted with the necessary information and send requests;
- in the “Wanted and Missing” menu, view the latest information about persons wanted and reported missing by law enforcement agencies in the manner prescribed by law;
- in the menu “Contacting the sector” submit requests and track the results of the request;
- in the "Parental Control" menu, parents can track their children by connecting them to the systems of turnstiles, GPS trackers and video surveillance cameras of educational institutions;
- In the "My Documents" menu, with a link to the relevant databases of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, receive identification data and other documents (ID-card, address sheet, passport copy, driver's license, insurance policy, etc.), as well as store programs in the memory of the program on the server, register and download through various devices and provide real-time access;
- In the SOS menu, you can send messages to short numbers "101", "102", "103", "104", "1050" and "1173", as well as track your location in real time.
The principle of operation of the mobile application is aimed at pursuing a policy of openness, maximizing the automation of the process of citizens' appeals to the relevant state bodies.
It is noted that the mobile application allows the population to remotely contact the sector and control the process of its consideration, establish operational communication with the chairman of the makhalla, sector leaders and prevention inspectors, promotes the rapid use of open data from government agencies, along with such opportunities as the assessment of the work of prevention inspectors.
