Residents and foreign can buy houses in Tashkent

The single portal of interactive state services published a draft state programme “The Year of dialogue with people and human interests”, which was developed on initiative of the President, Norma.uz said.

The document offers to provide opportunity to residents and foreigners to purchase apartments or houses in Tashkent city and Tashkent region.

According to the draft document, residents of Uzbekistan can purchase habitation in newly constructed houses. At the same time, the price of the habitation should not be less than 2,000 minimal wages, set in Uzbekistan. The residents should also pay state duty at the same of 5-10% from the price of the habitation.

The non-residence (foreigners) can purchase habitation in the same conditions, but the cost of the habitation should be at least US$100,000.
