Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 9 January, the duty station of the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bukhara region received a message that a Spark car drove into the water canal flowing on the territory of the Talizha makhalla in Bukhara.

Immediately, a rescue squad headed by Lieutenant Colonel G. Safoev arrived at the scene. Divers, special equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as teama of the local Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs worked.

Within 30 minutes, the car was raised to the surface. As it turned out later, the car drove into the canal due to the fact that the owner forgot to put the hand brake on while parking.

There were no casualties in the incident.
