Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, who arrived in earthquake-hit Turkiye, are conducting search and rescue operations in Ovakent and Jumabozor in Hatay province.
Work is carried out 24 hours a day, and our rescuers are assisted by specialists from the UMKE organization.
According to the Anadolu Agency, the death toll from the earthquake in Turkiye rose to 5894, and 34810 people were injured.
In the regions of Turkiye affected by the devastating earthquake, during search and rescue operations, Uzbek rescuers pulled 9 people alive and 12 dead bodies from the rubble.
Turkiye has declared seven days of national mourning for the victims of the disaster, and a three-month state of emergency has been declared in 10 affected provinces.
