Republican international cultural centre marks its 25th anniversary

Before the event, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met active members of national cultural centres on 24 January. The head of state congratulated them and the entire multi-ethnic nation of Uzbekistan cordially on the 25th anniversary of the republican international cultural centre. He gave high state awards to many active members of national cultural centres.

At the festive event, a television recording of this meeting was shown. It was noted that in 1992, there were 10 national cultural centres in Uzbekistan, and today their number is 137.

Various events have been held in all the regions of the country on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the republican international cultural centre.

In a big festive concert programme devoted to the 25th anniversary of the republican international cultural centre, prominent artistes and artistic groups of national cultural centres performed songs about the Motherland, independence, peace and friendship.
