Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 11 March, a meeting with representatives of Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. was held at the Atomic Energy Development Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Uzatom Agency).

The Korean side positively assessed the measures taken by the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of peaceful development of nuclear energy, including the improvement of legislation.

During the meeting, the bilateral agreements reached on the results of the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Korea in October last year, as well as the establishment of partnerships with the Korean company were discussed.

During the negotiations, issues of cooperation in the field of personnel training were also considered, as the basis for the professional competence of nuclear industry specialists, including the organization of internships for Uzbek builders in nuclear power plant construction projects, in which Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. takes part
