Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Uzsanoatqurilishmateriallari Association with representatives of the American company CalCity Industrial Park, led by Stepan Kyrkchu.

The event was also attended by representatives of Uzsanoatqurilishbank ATB, the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, as well as association leadership and industry specialists.

At the start of the meeting, Bahkhtiyor Bobokulov, the Chairman of the Association's Management Board, presented the prospects for the development of Uzbekistan's construction industry, major investment projects, the production of energy-efficient construction materials, international connections, and the activities of entrepreneurs in the sector. Discussions also focused on the implementation of joint investment projects, the establishment of trade houses and warehouses, as well as sources of raw materials and geological exploration. The guests were introduced to promising projects related to the production and enrichment of kaolin in Uzbekistan.

The U.S. delegation highly praised Uzbekistan’s construction industry, expressing their intention to strengthen ties to expand exports, implement investment projects, introduce modern technologies, and exchange expertise. Ideas were also proposed for the production of new types of building materials.

During the meeting, both sides received answers to their questions and agreed to further strengthen mutual relations.

Representatives of the American company will also visit Bukhara and the Republic of Karakalpakstan. For reference, CalCity Industrial Park is primarily engaged in the cultivation of cannabis and industrial hemp, their deep processing, and the introduction of new technologies for the production of pharmaceuticals, agricultural, textile, furniture, and construction materials.
