Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Consul General of Uzbekistan in the city of Novosibirsk, Y. Kabulzhanov, met with the mayor of the city of Ulan-Ude, Igor Shutenkov, Dunyo reported.

At the meeting, issues of strengthening interregional cooperation in the socio-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres, expanding business contacts of entrepreneurial structures were discussed.

The parties considered the construction of the Uzbek cultural center in the city of Ulan-Ude. A demonstration of the traditions and culture of the Uzbek people will be organized in the new center, and national cuisine will be organized. The Trade House of Uzbekistan will also be created in the city.

The Uzbek diplomat invited representatives of the Republic of Buryatia to the international business forum "Invest in Tashkent Region", which will be held in late October in the Tashkent region.
