Renovated building of UZEX branch opened in Andijan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
An opening ceremony of the building of the Andijan regional branch of Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange (UZEX) was held in Andijan on 20 March 2015. The building was opened after capital repair.
UZEX underlined that it has 13 regional branches and 130 trade points across Uzbekistan as the exchange tries to create comfortable conditions for participants of the trades, including small and private businesses.
The exchange fully repaired the building of Andijan branch and created conditions for increasing the volume of trades and attracting private and small businesses to trades.
Within the renovation of the building, the exchange updated its computers network and launched high speed internet, as well as installed a special display, showing quotes for products. Information LED-displays were installed in the building.
In 2014, Andijan branch of the UZEX recorded deals for 233.2 billion soums at all platforms, which rose by 18.3% compared to 2013. Sales of goods of small and private businesses via UZEX grew twice to 117.2 billion soums.
