Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A regular meeting of working government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the Joint Uzbek-Tajik Demarcation Commission ended today, the Dunyo news agency reported.

On 4-9 July, during negotiations in Ferghana, the parties discussed demarcation work on the line of the Uzbek-Tajik State border, exchanged views on the project demarcation line and the establishment of border marks on the interstate border.

The parties agreed to continue field demarcation work on the Uzbek-Tajik State Border.

The meeting was held in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding. As a result of the event, a Protocol was signed.
